ABOUT THE ARTIST

I live and work in the northeast, embraced by the four seasons and the glorious beauty that each one brings to my family's life. As a homeschool mom of four creative children, my studio is a corner of my bedroom, and occasionally the dining room table that overlooks our monster Magnolia tree. Hence, our home is nicknamed the Magnolia Treehouse. While growing as a practitioner of the Charlotte Mason philosophy of education with my children, my love of painting with acrylics and mark-making with pastels was rekindled. Once squashed as impractical child's play, now in my second half of life, the Lord has restored me to "a spacious place" (Psalm 18:19), where my creativity can be expressed as prayerful worship once again. He is good.
